William Fisk...painter
Il Pittore canadese William Fisk ama dipingere oggetti del passato con tratto iperrealista. Oltre alle amate motociclette - ovviamente made in england, predilige oggetti tecnologici di un'altra epoca; una macchina fotografica Yashica, vecchie radio, valvole, cineprese tutti riprodotti scrupolosamente.
La sua serie "Ritratti" ci fa esitare nel mettere a fuoco se trattasi di dipinti o oggetti reali fotografati....mi sembra di avvertire odore di castrol sae 50 magnifico!
Fisk si concentra su oggetti-monocromatici ponendo l'accento sulla luce e sull cromature, sembra affascinato anche dagli oggetti più semplici, dalle cuffie alle corde cavi. Non c'è da stupirsi che sia uno dei preferiti di aziende come Radio Shack e Comcast.
